Turns out women need more sleep than men. This according to a new book: Sleepfaring: A Journey Through The Science of Sleep.
According to the book, women’s brains are wired differently from men’s and are more complex, so their sleep need will be slightly greater. The average woman should need about 20 minutes more sleep than the average man.
So the next time you are arguing with your guy about who has to get up and make the coffee, you can claim it’s because of your complex brain and sleep away!
