PRINCE passed away yesterday at his Paisley Park compound just outside of Minneapolis. He was 57. He was found in an elevator, and wasn’t able to be revived. There’s no word on a cause of death. His people say he’d been suffering from flu-like symptoms, but TMZ says he’d recently overdosed.
PRINCE’s legendary career spanned 38 years. He put out 39 albums . . . sold more than 100 million albums worldwide . . . won seven Grammys, a Golden Globe, and an Oscar . . . was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . . . and had five #1 singles.

JODIE SWEETIN was hospitalized after injuring her ankle during “Dancing with the Stars” rehearsals yesterday. It’s too early to know if she’ll be dancing next week or not.
