Beyonce dropped her new visual album ‘Lemonade’ over the weekend.
From her song ‘Sorry’- “Middle fingers up, put them hands high. Wave it in his face, tell him, boy, bye. He better call Becky with the good hair.”
From ‘Pray You Catch Me’- “You can taste the dishonesty. It’s all over your breath as you pass it off so carefully. But even that’s a test, Constantly aware of it all. My lone ear pressed against the walls of your world.”
From ‘Hold Up’- “Let’s imagine for a moment that you never made a name for yourself. Or mastered wealth, they never had you labeled as a king. You never made it out the cage, to locked up, movin’ in the streets. Never had the baddest woman in the game up in your sheets. Would they be down to ride?”
From ‘Daddy Lessons’ – “My daddy warned me about men like you. He said, Baby girl, he’s playing you. He’s playing you. My daddy warned me about men like you.”
Apparently, fashion designer Rachel Roy (also..she is Kim Kardashian’s bestie!) has spoken up, and has revealed herself as ‘Becky with the good hair’ from Beyonce’s ‘Sorry’ lyrics. She allegedly ‘fessed up in this Instagram post captured by The Shade Room (it has since been deleted!)
Here’s where things get extra crazy! After checking out ‘Lemonade’ over the weekend, Beyonce’s fans went on a bit of a witch hunt. Except they confused Rachel Roy with celebrity chef Rachael Ray! Poor Ray has been inundated with messages and comments on all of her social media accounts disparaging her for these acts of which she is completely innocent. Awkward!
