A wedding guest recently attended the nuptuals of an ex-coworker and gifted the couple a cheque for 1oo British pounds (which works out to approximately 185 Canadian dollars.)
That is one heck of a generous wedding gift if you ask me! However, the couple suggested this person give a larger contribution, sending a e-mail that said, “We were surprised that your contribution didn’t seem to match the warmth of your good wishes on our big day. In view of your own position, if you wanted to send any adjustment it would be thankfully received.”
Whoa!!!! Is this warranted? or rude? More details here.
