A new study of more than 23,000 people found that pasta DOESN’T actually make you chubby.
In fact, the researchers found that people who ate pasta were SKINNIER than people who didn’t.
And here’s the best part: The study comes from ITALY. Let’s thank the Italians for stepping up to cast some doubt on all the anti-carb health nuts.
The researchers say people who ate pasta were more likely to be on the Mediterranean diet, which includes lots of fruits, vegetables, fish, and whole grains.
So even if all the carbs in pasta might be bad, if you’re having it in moderation with a healthy diet, you probably don’t have to worry about it too much.
