The organizers behind the World’s Longest Hockey Game are at it again, raising money to fight cancer with the World’s Longest Baseball Game, right here in Edmonton. It started at 11am Friday, concluding 1pm Monday – four days of outs, runs, at bats and hopefully, lots of donations. Over $116,000 has been raised so far, with admission to the game by donation and yes, you can go watch at 3am – the field will be open 24/7, rain or shine, for the full four days. Proceeds to the Alberta Cancer Foundation and the Cross Cancer Institute.
The game is happening at Edmonton Ball Park (formerly known as TELUS Field) at 10233 – 96 Ave NW, just north of the Epcor plant, with parking available.
