As an admitted cell phone addict, I can understand how hard it is to put down the celly in the work place. I can see how this could become a problem in most work places. Not only can being a cell phone junkie become a problem due to wasting company time, but in certain circumstances it can also be a safety hazard.
According to Reddit, one restaurant is addressing the issue with what some may consider a pretty harsh contract.

The contract also addresses a few other issues. Is it just me or does this seem a little severe? Writing an employee up is one thing, but fining them is another. And allegedly firing someone for refusing to sign such a document? Unreal. On the plus side, at least these “fines” are quite cheap.
