Personally, I refrain from buying my son expensive designer clothes for a variety of reasons: he grows incredibly fast, plays hard and damages all his clothes, and my wallet isn’t as fat as I wish it was.
However, some parents choose to shower their children in fancy duds- sparing no expense. To each their own, I say! But you should probably know that children can be sloppy little monsters who are hard on their clothes. If you’re gonna drop mad cash on a mini person you should probably be aware and accepting of that risk!
Sara Bryan (from Wakefield in the U.K.) takes fashion very seriously, and makes sure her 3 year old daughter Isabella and her 13 year old son Keegan have the finest clothes, sometimes even shipping in garments from boutiques in other countries.
Isabella was recently on a playdate, where she wore her fancy red boots which set her mom back 325 pounds (that’s 537 dollars in case you’re wondering!) Isabella came home with scuff marks and marker on her shoes, so Sarah immediately shot off an angry email to Isabella’s friends mom (33 year old Nicola Gibbs) along with an invoice for the cost of the footwear.
This is what the damaged boots look like:
Should she pay the bill? Would you?
