Wow..how is this even possible? How did we go from hot and glorious yesterday to dreary and stormy today? Mother Nature sure is fickle!
Today’s stormy weather made a mess of Edmonton today.
If you’re like me, you’re a little irritated that your favorite lawn chair got tossed around in your back yard today:
But I sure am grateful it’s wasn’t worse!
Sure, the back alley is filled with the neighborhood’s plastic garbage cans and recycling containers just dancing around in the wind. But the unlucky ones got huge tree branches draped across their property!
Sure, this one isn’t so bad..not in anyone’s way…but can you imagine when these people get home and try and park their car in the driveway??
Yikes! And I feel for the people in charge of moving this doozy
Compared to that one, this little pile isn’t too bad.
But this is the worst one I’ve seen today and I hope no one was hurt. I can’t imagine how scary it would have been to hear this thing slam into my house.
Shout out to the crews who are currently hard at work clearing this tree up!
Those are some strong winds.
Trees weren’t the only things Mother Nature decided to chuck about today. Hopefully your fence fared better than this one

And this one!
This construction sign was knocked over but at least it stayed in place I guess.
This one, too!
Our front entrance sign is no longer standing proudly
But CISN Country’s flamingo display on the station’s front lawn is doing way better than expected!
Stay safe out there and hopefully this weather skidaddles soon!
Did the storm cause any damage to your property?
