The first weekend of summer is officially in the books, and Edmonton certainly delivered with some fantastic events and a little help from mother nature, providing us with sunshine and temps hitting 28 degrees by Sunday!
On Saturday morning I had an opportunity to drive a 40 foot ETS bus at their annual skills competition. As you can see in the photo some of the cones on the course did not survive. I also managed to “punt” some barrels off the course (Click here to watch the video).
After driving my 40 foot bus, I hopped back on my 6 foot motorcycle and met my girlfriend and her dad (who had flown in from B.C.) at the 104th street market. Always a blast!
On Sunday we made our way over to Zwick’s Pretzels and that place definitely lived up to the hype! Who doesn’t want Pretzels for breakfast?
The Old Strathcona Antique Mall was having their annual parking lot sale, so we went searching for some treasures. Though I will forever regret NOT buying this fur jacket, we did end up scoring some cool old records and for some reason a pair of roller skates?
The gorgeous weather kept me on my bike all weekend. Remember this is motorcycle riding season, so share the road, be alert for bikes and we can make it a safe summer for everyone.
