Since cancelling the remaining dates on his Purpose World Tour, Justin Bieber has offered apologies but no explanation.
This led to a lot of speculation and rumors, such as he cancelled it due to exhaustion. That would make sense as he has been on a grueling tour for the past two years but that is not the case. TMZ had reported he decided to cancel his tour and focus on rededicating his life to Christ. Also, not true.
Bieber has finally explained himself, in a lengthy, sincere, brutally honest, heartfelt post on his Instagram page. To sum things up, he is taking time to focus on his mental and emotional health.
As disappointing as a cancelled tour can be for fans, it is refreshing to see him finally take some strides towards getting his sh*t together.
John Mayer agrees, tweeting “When someone pulls remaining dates of a tour, it means they would have done real damage to themselves if they kept going. We’ve lost so many great artists lately. I give Justin [two thumbs up] for realizing it was time to call it. You should too.”
