My weekend started on Friday night at my first Oilers game of the season! Yes it was only pre-season but it’s always nice to beat the Vancouver Canucks! I’m not sure what I was more excited about: The game or my “Champion Dog”… Yes that is a giant mound of bacon bits!
I noticed on Instagram that my favorite Poke restaurant (Ono Poke) was offering Loco Moco, which is a Hawaiian delicacy. So Saturday we headed to 104th with hungry bellies! There are many variations , but the traditional loco moco consists of white rice, topped with a hamburger patty, a fried egg, and brown gravy. Unfortunately for us we got their to late and they were sold out so we settled for some Poke instead…
Sunday started with a juice cleanse (to make up for my Champion Dog at Rogers place). The goal is to go for 2 days drinking 6 juice’s a day and only eating one Salad. So far I’ve gone 12 hours, we’ll see if I can make it!
What a great day for a ride on my motorcycle. 15 degrees and a bit of overcast made for perfect conditions. I hope it wasn’t the last ride of the year but if it was it sure was memorable.
Finally, Edmonton’s Comic Expo was in town so I rode over there and met some great people! It’s always a blast to see how good the costumes are and this year was definitely not disappointing. I brought my microphone so I could interview a few people too!
