The founder of Playboy Magazine has reportedly passed away today at the age of 91.
Hefner revolutionized the publishing industry, and was constantly pushing boundaries with his edgy company.
Hefner started his company while working at a children’s magazine, with just $600 that he borrowed from friends and financial institutions. Thus, Playboy was born. Playboy Enterprises Inc was at one point worth a whopping 200 million dollars.
At the time of his death, Hefner’s net worth was approximately 45 million dollars.
According to Playboy Enterprises Inc, Hef died peacefully in his home of natural causes.
