Alex is a young woman from a working class neighborhood who is driven by her desire to become a professional dancer. She works two jobs to save the money for school, by day she is a welder at a steel mill, by night she is a go-go dancer in a local bar and grill – “Randy’s Place.” One night, Alex somehow convinces the enrollment committee of the Royal Moose Jaw Academy of Dance to come see her dance at the club. On that same night, Nick, the owner of the mill, comes to the club; Alex, worried that he might fire her from the mill if he finds out she is a dancer, enlists the help of her crazy group of friends to help fool her boss. What follows is a hilarious tale of mistaken identity filled with crazy night club characters, snooty dance school judges and lots of great music from the 80’s! Wow! Our 5th year of Street Hockey fun!
We would like to thank everybody who has participated in the Annual Road Rage Street Hockey Tournament. Year after year, we see so many friendly faces and many enjoying their first year out. Our intention was to create an event based on fun, and by the smiles on the faces of the kids each year, we believe we accomplished it. We are really looking forward to doing it again in May!
We never could have accomplished this weekend without the generous support from our sponsors, please be sure to support them!
Thanks for joining us! The Road Rage Street hockey tournament was put together by a group of devoted St. Albert hockey community folks who want to build a large and fun local street hockey tourney in St. Albert.
The group is formed by locals: Geoff Giaccobbo, Dave Ridd, Rob Brown and Rob LeLacheur. The group spends the majority of their time in hockey arenas and are looking forward to hitting the pavement this May for another great year of the annual Road Rage!
See you in May 27 & 28th, 2017!

For over three decades the Northern Alberta International Children’s Festival has served as a signature cultural event for the city of St. Albert. Building bridges between art, culture and education, this magical six-day festival transforms downtown St. Albert into a world where the only limitation is one’s imagination. From interaction with artists and performers from around the world, to the ability to learn about far away places and time periods, to the hands-on creation of one-of-a-kind artistic masterpieces, this festival is a truly unique family experience that has something to offer for all ages.
Tuesday, May 30th through Friday, June 2nd is tailored specifically to schools and groups (10 or more people), with the exception of Shaw’s Toddler Town.
For the first time in 35 years, The International Children's Festival of the Arts has extended the festival and included Saturday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 4th for the general public, so busy families experience the various site activities the festival has to offer!
NEW in 2017 | We’ve also been hard at work to develop a user-friendly app that will help you plan your weekend Festival experience with confidence. Download the festival All on iTunes or Google Play
