The PGA TOUR, Mackenzie Tour and the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation have a shared vision of giving back to the community. Since inception, the PGA TOUR has contributed over $2,200,000,000 to local charities.
Proceeds from the Syncrude Oil Country Championship presented by AECON will help to raise important funds for the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF). Established in 2001, the EOCF continues the legacy of giving back by contributing its unique resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the communities of Northern Alberta.
This year’s beneficiary will see the EOCF donate net tournament funds to the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in support of its Pediatric Procedure Room. The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation promotes rehabilitation and provides financial support for the enhancement of patient care, education, research, equipment and technology development at the Glenrose.
The Syncrude Oil Country Championship presented by AECON will be supporting the equipment inside the Pediatric Procedure Room – a safe, private and non-threatening child-friendly pediatric suite for medical procedures.
